If you are looking to go drinking in Khan Market and do not want to feel like you have entered a pub/bar in one of the lesser known/shady parts of Delhi, Mamagoto is your place.
Aside from the good quality liquor, the place also offers a great spread of pan-asian treats.

The decor of the restaurant is friendly with the walls covered with cute panda wall hangings/ wallpapers. There is no music playing but it tends to get slightly loud as the tables are not very well spaced and the place is usually crowded, especially on weekends.

In terms of food, there is a little bit on offer for all kinds of food eaters and you can return extremely satisfied from a meal here if you choose your order well.

If you are a fan of sea food, you should definitely try the shrimps with dry red chilli + burnt garlic and for main course the prawns with lime chilly sauce (try this with the egg fried rice.. superb combination)

Mamagoto has also introduced some additional dishes in the form of a new separate menu, on my recent visit here I tried the fish starter (can’t remember the name!), the fish was very soft and tasty, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste!!

For the chicken eaters, the safe choice for starters would be the classic chicken wings or the hot basil chicken cups and for main course, try their schezwan chicken with a choice of noodles or rice. You could also go with the classic pan fried noodles meal.

Mamagoto also serves one of the best thai curries (veg and non-veg both) in Delhi!

But the main USP of  Mamagoto is the combination of good alcohol/cocktails and great food. In cocktails, my personal recommendations would be the water-melon martini and the green apple mojito.

If you are in the mood for dessert, I would suggest trying out the other options available in and around Khan Market (my experiences with their desserts have been a bit disappointing).

A word of caution: the service can tend to be crazily slow on some special days and yes, there is a long waiting list on weekends like all other Khan Market restaurants so make sure you call in or show up on time.

Of course, you now also have the option of going to their many other outlets at Saket, Vasant Kunj or Gurgaon.
